ALBERT LOPEZ

Albert’s experience speaks for itself. He graduated from the Academy of Art University San Francisco in 2008 with a degree in editing and directing; cutting his teeth with NBC Universal, on major television productions such as “Battlestar Galactica” in 2007 and “Parenthood”, 2009.

Following graduation, he spent a few years shooting and editing market research videos for companies like Nike, ABC, Microsoft, Sega, Apple, Anova, and EA Sports. In the summer of 2009 Albert went to work for advertising giant Goodby Silverstein & Partners until going to work for Disney/Pixar from 2010 to 2012 as an editorial assistant for the film “John Carter”.

From 2012 to 2014, Albert co-wrote, produced, directed and edited his award-winning action short “Love Hurts”; which will be available later this year on ShortsTV. The film was self-funded through 3 separate crowdsourcing campaigns on indiegogo.com; all while creating viral stop motion animations with collaborating Director and Cinematographer Jason Ragosta. He and Albert made many short films together and also won several contests for their shorts through Tongal.com.

2014 to 2015, Albert was an assistant to Academy Award winning editor Hughes Winborne (Crash, Fences) and legendary Director Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Mrs. Doubtfire) on the Adam Sandler comedy “Pixels”(Sony/Columbia). During his time at 1492 Pictures, Albert reached viral fame with several pop culture mash-up videos on his YouTube Channel. His MadMax/Kimmy Schmidt mash-up was featured on indiewire.com, polygon.com, telegraph.co.uk, io9, gizmodo.com, Nerdist and countless others. Just Google “Unbreakable Furiosa” and see for yourself.

In 2016, Albert worked as an Assistant Editor and freelance Editor for Defy Media, on the series “SuperFan Builds”.  During this time, Albert launched a self-funded comedy series with friends Monty Geer and Devin Crossett called “On Hiatus with Monty Geer” in which several of our videos went viral; with one reaching over 2.2 million viewers on Facebook. 6 of our sketches have been featured on the home page of funnyordie.com.

In 2017, he worked on the Emmy nominated web series “Zac & Mia” (season 1) as an assistant editor. In June of that year, Albert’s first big credit on Netflix became a reality when the documentary “Saving Banksy” was released. Albert was one of the film’s editors, working with director Colin Day; a longtime collaborator and friend.

Albert also worked for the production design team of Geek & Sundry, under set designer Brad Bailey at Legendary Digital; painting tabletop gaming miniatures for shows “Starter Kit”, “We’re Alive” and recently “Painter’s Guild” where Albert was featured on the show as a guest painter for the season 1 finale. All shows are available to view on projectalpha.com.

In 2018, Albert began performing stand up comedy and has been booked to perform at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank and TMI Hollywood.  Albert currently works in the video production department of Flappers Comedy Inc.

Albert’s creative thumbprint can be found on everything he does. Although his experience in film production make him the ideal candidate to helm this project; he also has a in-depth history, growing up in the buckle of the bible belt, which makes his upbringing a strong human interest story for the film.

JEZREL WHITE

The easiest way to describe Jezrel White is dedicated. He displays this characteristic to anyone he interacts with and anything he commits himself to. He is a lifelong, innovative entrepreneur who has finally found a way to balance his imagination with real life.

Raised in the Midwest by two creatives, his parents, Jezrel did not take to being involved in the arts until his adult years set in. This discovery came after many failed attempts at “being an adult”. Some of these failed attempts included having a real job, living with 6-month long winters and shopping for “healthy” food. Using America’s melting pot as an inspiration, Jezrel now is putting his life experience ingredients into the same recipe; his life.

Currently, Jezrel runs a niche photography business, manages a handful of carefully chosen music artists, and is continuously in works with individuals and businesses alike to promote compassionate collaboration and therefore show positive growth. His current home base/residence is in Madison, WI, however, he prefers the world as his office space.
